Development
Effective Continual Professional Development (CPD) planning is vitally important to ensure that the activities you undertake as part of your personal development are relevant. Every financial planner is required to complete at least 35 hours of CPD activity each year. How much of that time is effective and how much of it is spent listening to the same people tell you the same things? Are you really learning anything new?
We can help identify appropriate training needs with the objective of helping you and you team get better at what you do.
Collaboration
We are very pleased to be working in collaboration with Michaela Pashley and colleagues at Practical Financial Exams (PFE) in the development of advanced training materials and assessment of their SQA Level 9 (equivalent of OFQUAL Level 6) Practical Investment Planning qualification.
Service Details
Online or In Person?
We are happy delivering training online, in person or in a hybrid approach. Where necessary we wil travel anywhere in the UK and Northern Ireland to deliver training if an in-person session is required. Many of our clients now opt for a hybrid approach, meaning that some sessions will be delivered online and some in-person. As our service is bespoke we will agree with you how you want us to deliver the training you need.
Competency Assessment
We have developed a comprehensive approach to competency assessment for new advisers which we can tailor to your firm. This involved digitally recording face to face case study meetings, suitability report reviews and comprehensive feedback to improve development.
Training Portal
We are working with Leslie Learning to bring clients of Unburdened Solutions a training portal for on-demand training videos on core subjects such as the FCA Conduct Rules, Anti Money-Laundering and Market Abuse which we aim to launch in Q4 2024.
